How are Catacel catalyst materials different?

The most important difference is not so much in the catalyst chemistry as in the support technology. Our catalysts are supported differently than traditional catalysts. Instead of using ceramic pellet supports, our catalysts are coated onto supports fabricated from thin metal foils.

Catacel SSRs now compatible with steam reformation of propane

After years of using its Stackable Strutural Reactor (SSR) catalyst system for the steam reformation of methane, Catacel announced it has now developed an additional catalyst system to reform propane. This SSR system should provide the same benefits as have been observed for methane because the only difference is the catalyst that is employed.
